Fresh indie-pop quartet Corella started their journey in Manchester early 2016. Joel (Vocals/Guitar), Ben (Vocals/Bass), Jack (Guitar) and James (Drums) are currently bouncing between the studio and the road with their powerful vocals, melodic guitars and pulsating drums.
After her debut-single with over 1M streams and the current single Pathetic released with Ninajirachi (premiered on Tripple J and supported by JAY-Z’s mgmt), Naah today is back with her new smashing single Touch !
Naah is one of the latest shooting stars over the Stockholm-sky and is definitely one to keep your eye on. With roots in indie-pop, the 21 year old independent songwriter and artist now release her second single Sippin, which is something you haven’t heard in pop-music before. She takes her experience from band-jamming and translates it to electronic-music and the result gets stunning! With an ironic tone to riches, new-thinking groovy beats and playful melodies, she puts her own stamp on music and delivers a single that can be measured with the world stars. It’s not electro. It’s not R&B. It’s not pop.
“Sippin’ is the second single from Stockholm based songwriter NAAH. It’s an effervescent electronic alt-pop number with rhythmic synth-work, crisp percussion and outstanding melody writing. It is clear that she is talented beyond her years, at only 21 she is creating well crafted synth-pop with clear appeal – her debut single ‘Worth It’ picked up some serious love across the blogosphere and shot its way to ~500,000 streams on Spotify. This new one is sure to find its way into your Spotify playlists and should see the young talent emerge as a serious contender this year”. ‘Purple Melon‘

Unbloom is London Ontarian Jonathan Zarola. He began his musical career as a drummer for jazz, funk, and indie-rock outfits.
Enthralled by the chord progressions and rhythms of the former two genres, and enticed by the exuberant energy of the latter, Zarola has made it a point to combine these influences in his music. Using lush synthesizers, throbbing bass-lines, dynamic drums, and pleading vocals from both himself and a plethora of guest collaborators, he attempts to create an emotional crisis on the dance floor.
Having grabbed the attention of many tastemakers with his EP This Could Be Everything / This Could Be Nothing, Zarola’s latest release, Chances, aims to strengthen his reach amongst fans and critics alike.
“Following the 2016 release of their EP Ltd, Toronto-based four piece Blajk come back with a moody new single to both prepare you for sun-soaked barbecues and cause you to have a serious think about life. For “Gunshot”, indie rock instrumentation is marinated in an electronic treatment. It’s an expansion of the sound on their previous EP, and the sonic growth is fitting with the “Gunshot” lyrics. The band says of the song: The gunshot symbolizes an epiphany, an unavoidable realization that where you are may not be the healthiest place for you. It takes you out of a moment, pairing you with a grounding force that helps you wade through the murkiness of uncertainty and the hardships of staying true to yourself. There’s a fair amount of personal growth that comes from this” (Earmilk).
“With loud indie rock instrumentals combined with electronic beats, BLAJK have stepped up their game big time. They have gone deep with the lyrics making it a very personal track that makes you have a long hard think about life” (Indie Central Music)
Face + Heel, aka Luke Taylor and Sinead McMillan, started working together in Jan 2012 and have been gaining plaudits over the last year for the excellent ‘No Stars EP’ on Warm Records and their self released ‘Chipped Tooth EP’.
They’ve already supported artists such as Blondes, Matthew Dear, Orbital, NZCA/Lines, Portico Quartet, AlunaGeorge and oOoOO in the last 18 months, and have tucked away some superb festival shows under their belts at the Great Escape, Lovebox, Garden Festival, L.E.V, and Simple Things.
Having been tipped by the Boiler Room founders as the ones to watch after their acclaimed live set back in April 2013 the band have the sights set on conquering 2014.
“They manage to combine delicate piano and vocals with deep synths and rhythmic elements of house and garage to create ambitious and thoughtful live electronica.” (Crack Magazine)
“An elegiac instrumental featuring a percussion break resembling the distinct, metal-on-metal rattling of trains rolling over railroad switches, altogether building a song both earthbound and angelic.” (Fader)
“No Stars crafts a profound synth-heavy soundscape that is adorned with moaned, soulful vocals and sparse bassline, resulting in an immensely dark, forlorn and atmospheric ballad” (Dummy)
“intricate electronic compositions with an acute focus on songcraft” (XLR8R)
