After announcing the forthcoming release of his debut EP ‘Test The Shallows’ , Keelan Mak today reveals the dark and enigmatic video for new single “Sleep Talker“, a melancholic disco track which plays with garage house influences, woozy layers of synth and beats, and smooth vocal toplines.
Premiering on Notion Magazine overnight, the concept of the video centres on a lover who’s manufactured a fantasy world to escape the reality of his relationship.
The motel sets the real-life situation of two lovers meeting for a late-night rendezvous. The protagonist is quickly pulled into a hypnotic state which draws him out of the motel, stumbling towards a glowing red box within another world where he can temporarily be himself.
