Amy Jo – Doing Better

Since winning North-West’s Search for A Star at only 13, Amy Jo has become no stranger to the music industry; regularly supporting big names such as Scouting for Girls, Rick Astley, Heaven 17, Alexander O’Neal and Toploader. She also performed alongside artists such as Pixie Lott, Little Mix and The Vamps for two consecutive years at Blackpool Illuminations and has recently finished touring with chart-topping band ‘The Christians’.

Amy Jo began writing songs at 13 and has since had her tracks played on BBC Introducing, BBC Radio Lancashire and BBC Radio Manchester. She also recently featured on the Women in Music segment on Indie Rocks Radio.

Keen to release her original music, Amy Jo released her first self-penned EP ‘Innocence’ at only 15 and her second EP ‘Integrity’ at only 17. She has since been releasing new tracks which she has not only written; but helped to produce and her headline show sold over 250 tickets in her hometown of Lancaster.

Thursday night of the annual Lancaster Music Festival saw eighteen-year-old singersongwriter; Amy-Jo Clough amaze a packed audience at the Penny Bank with her country-pop sound reminiscent of a young Taylor Swift. Yet, there was a twist. Cavaro – Not The One (ft. Abrax Phaeton & Enya Angel)

Cavaro is a Colombian music producer with over 7 years of experience where he has accumulated various top positions on the iTunes charts and a 16th position on the global Spotify charts with his song “Lost In You”. His style is a mixture of various influences including Rnb, Hip hop, funk, Chillstep and Pop.

Cavaro is a music producer and Live Performer characterised for making Tropical-House/R&B/Trap-influenced music mixed with different elements from other styles and genres, always versatile but with a unique sense of identity. Starting in the electronic music world at the age of 18 (with extensive background on musical theory), Cavaro traveled to Australia where he resides now and founded his own record label ‘RKJ Music’, which later on would reach a number 9 spot on the iTunes Electronic Charts with Cavaro’s release ‘Second Chance (Ft. Dominique)’.

After graduating with a bachelor on music production from SAE Institute Melbourne, Cavaro focused his attention on making remixes and crafting his ever evolving sound meeting different people on the way and gaining popularity. He also managed to be a host on BPM Radio Australia (Transmitted by KISS FM) and to play in different clubs of the local scene in Melbourne.

After traveling  to different conferences of the music industry such as ADE (Amsterdam), WMC (Miami), EMC (Sydney), Cavaro re-routed his focus, simultaneously releasing a Progressive House remix of John Legend’s song ‘All Of Me‘ along with the Colombian producer ‘Argüello‘. This remix had over 200000 plays in a short time, trended on Soundcloud and was played in different radio stations around the world.

In the end of 2014 Cavaro started  creating his new and unique style. This would be a mixture of the sounds he would find exploring the different genres he was starting to be influenced by (Mainly RNB) at that moment. Later on he would release remixes introucing his new style and surprisingly catching the attention of the public with more than 100000 plays per remix and an outstanding number of plays of almost 300000 generated by his version of ‘Thinking Out Loud‘ by Ed Sheeran.

His popularity with remixes started to grow rapidly which lead Cavaro to release his original song called ‘Second Chance’ featuring vocals by the New Yorker Dominique.  It reached the number 9 spot on the iTunes Electronic Charts within the first week of the Pre-order stage and gained more than 120000 plays in the first couple of months. It also trended on Soundcloud and has been played in different radio stations around the world which had opened many doors for the Colombian producer.

Cavaro as an ever evolving producer, is a rising talent to have an eye on, his remixes and originals are unique and something worth to listen to.

Unsigned Jan Hammele, 26, and Andreas Huber, 25, are two ambitious and experienced producers, multi-instrumentalists, DJs and live-acts who have been making music together for six years.
The two perfectionists first got to know each other during their studies in Audio Design at the School Of Popular Arts Berlin (hdpk) and have been involved in several collaborative projects since then. They quickly discovered a similar taste and working process which brought them together on a professional level.
Jan‘s musical approach has been influenced by his early involvement in a punk/grunge band where he was front singer and played both the guitar and the piano.
Andreas is an equally educated musician who began his musical career in numerous metal bands before he shifted his focus on other genres.
Drawn towards the zeitgeist of Berlin‘s electronic music scene, they developed an enthusiasm for the sheer endless opportunities within the genre. Formerly operating under their stage name Egokind & Ozean they started making music in 2010 and released their debut album „Transition. During this period they toured around European clubs as a DJ duo and live-act and played gigs in Belgium, Canada, Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Turkey, the UK and the US.
They have produced for numerous artists such as Alle Farben, Yasha, Lovra, L Devine and many more. For the multi-national selling single „She Moves“ by german EDM artist Alle Farben they received a golden record in 2015.
With their new artist project BLYNE the two Berlin based producers decided to shift their focus and devotion in order to developed a unique interpretation of contemporary pop music transcending traditional and national genres. By collaborating with different English native-speaking artists for each song, they create a varied but very recognisable sound which meanders between pop, r‘n‘b, hip-hop and electronic music.

GHITA was born in Morocco in 1994 to a Spanish-Moroccan mother and a Moroccan father. She grew up between Spain, Morocco and Switzerland, where she was exposed to contrasting worlds. Following high-school, Ghita moved to Boston to attend Berklee College of Music, where she spent three years studying songwriting and performance. Her first show as “Ghita” was June 2015, serving as the opening act for Maroon 5 during the Mawazine Festival in Morocco. Ghita’s musical influences include pop icons like Lorde, Lana del Rey, the Weekend and rappers like DRAKE, KANYE, J COLE. She describes her style as pop/Rnb rooted in the catchiness of her choruses, all the while adapting an r’n’b feel to her verses and beats. Ghita also enjoys representing her Moroccan heritage through the use of percussions and exotic samples. Currently, the young Mediterranean singer is residing in Los Angeles where she is working on her new music set to be released summer 2016.

London singer-songwriter Juliette Ashby releases her debut album ‘Over and Over’ in May 2015. With a unique and captivating voice, Juliette’s music is a combination of R&B, Reggae and Neo-Soul. She has wowed crowds at the world’s most renowned festivals including the Isle of Wight Festival and SXSW, where she gave a standout performances at Perez Hilton’s ‘One Night In Austin Party’ and the ADD52 event hosted by Def Jam’s Russell Simmons.

Talitha Cross aka Taliwhoah heralds from London/England with a distinct flavor of Hip Hop & RnB, yet other genres richly blend in with her unique style, now living in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California.

Talitha was born into the foundation of Reggae Music to mother Toyin Adekale, father Slim Linton aka Klearview Harmonics, aunty Sandra Cross and Godmother Maizie Williams (Boney M).
